EWS Searchable Index

A searchable index is now available. Currently, this feature is available only on the Sun Microsystems internal mirror, at noho.eng.sun.com..

The search is implemented using the Excite Web Server. The index includes text and html documents.

Additional Core Errata Changes.

As authorized by proposal #396 the Additional Core Errata page has been updated with the SCSI max-transfer correction to Annex E.

Commercially Available Documentation

As requested by Greg Hill an additional document, Open Firmware Client Interface Developer's Guide, has been added to the Firmworks section of Commercially Available Documentation. (Remove '-xxx' to use email address.)

VME Bus Binding Update

As requested, I finally posted David Paktor's update to the Vme Binding, including the ballot comments and David's draft replies. To refresh your memory, this is the version currently under consideration as a working group recommended practice. (Remove '-xxx' to use email address.)

Thanks to John Kingman, the bindings are available in both postscript and html. Some of the table formatting in the html versions needs work, but overall, the conversion went fairly well.

The main page, known as index.html is now an entry page asking you to select a site. The main content page is now known as "/1275/home.html" at both sites. Note that this may require some changes to those linking to specific sections of the main pages ... please add home.html to those links and remove the "/pub/1275" part of that path, which is no longer necesary or desired at either site.

PowerPC Bindings Updated.

The Instruction Set Architecture Supplements section, and specifically the PowerPC Instruction Set Architecture Supplements section were revamped so we could represent both the latest draft and the latest accepted versions of the documents. There's also a link to browse the directories for older versions. The editor's notes describing the changes for each document are now included in this section.

New draft and accepted versions of the Power PC bindings are now available.

When supplied by the document editor, there are editor's notes html files in the Power PC bindings directories.

Working Group Organization

Updated the Working Group Organization section to refect that we have a new Secretary.
